Garden & Grounds Assistant Position Summary: The Garden & Grounds Assistant provides gardening and maintenance duties, assisting Garden Curators and Grounds Staff in maintaining formal gardens, trails, and natural areas. The role requires hands‑on experience in plant care and landscape upkeep. Duties / Responsibilities Planting, weeding, mowing, and pruning to maintain formal gardens, trails, and natural areas. Minimum Qualifications Gardening and maintenance experience. Physical Demands Working outside during adverse weather conditions. Strenuous physical activity including mulching, weeding, raking, digging, and planting. Background Investigation Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a background investigation, including a criminal background check, employment verification, and, if applicable, a credit check.
