Director, Human Resources Business Partner

Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) Valeris is a fully integrated life sciences commercialization partner that provides comprehensive solutions across the healthcare value chain. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning human resources strategies with business objectives to drive organizational performance, growth, and culture. Key Responsibilities Strategic partnership with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support organizational goals. Act as a consultant on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management. Translate business needs into scalable HR solutions. Partner with Talent Management to build bench strength, continuity plans, and develop talent within client groups. Identify skill gaps and build targeted development initiatives. Drive a performance and accountability‑driven culture through MIT and performance management processes. Build talent acquisition strategies for client areas in partnership with TA COE. Enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention. Use data and analytics to inform decisions and measure HR impact. Guide leaders through transformation, restructuring, or growth initiatives. Foster a positive, inclusive, high‑performance work environment; lead employee relations investigations. Champion company values and culture across the organization. Lead and support change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and adoption. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, L&D) to align HR strategy with business goals. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices; mitigate employee‑relations risks; partner with legal and compliance as needed. Oversee day‑to‑day HR inquiries and operations within the HR operating model. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred. Minimum 10+ years of HR business‑partner experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. Experience driving transformational change. Background in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, SaaS or similar industries preferred. Deep understanding of business unit goals, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. Proven experience supporting a geographically diversified client group. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for actionable insights. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HRIS (preferably Workday). Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and derive insights to inform decisions. Experience designing, implementing, and communicating benefits and compensation (US scope). Working knowledge of local legal environments. Ability to structure priorities and deliver in high‑pressure, business‑critical environments. Strong conflict‑management skills with diplomacy and sensitivity. Advanced skill in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Fluent English, written and verbal. Travel required quarterly; willingness to travel as needed.
