Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days | 3x12 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families/caregivers
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems, demonstrating cognitive and psychosocial competency specific to the population served
• Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed to support individualized patient outcomes across the entire episode of care
• Float to other units within the organization up to competency level as required by department needs
• Maintain availability for schedule variations including weekends, holidays, and one additional shift per schedule period
• Pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips

Required Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license required prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Prior travel nursing experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for complex patient populations including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Familiarity with high-acuity environments and advanced monitoring technologies
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in fast-paced settings
