Anderson Center for Autism

Preschool Behavior Analyst

Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who believes the most impactful work happens at the very beginning of a child's educational journey? Do you enjoy mentoring teachers, developing effective instructional systems, and helping entire classroom teams achieve better outcomes for students with autism? Would you like to use your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis to shape not only student success, but also the growth and development of educators across a dynamic early childhood program? As a Preschool Behavior Analyst at Anderson Center for Autism, you'll play a critical role in supporting classrooms, coaching educators, and implementing evidence-based practices that help young learners build communication, social, academic, adaptive, and behavioral skills. Working closely with Teachers, Teaching Assistants, therapists, and educational leadership, you'll help create classroom environments where children can thrive while ensuring staff have the tools, training, and confidence needed to deliver exceptional instruction. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical leader who values collaboration, mentorship, innovation, and data-informed decision-making. As you help optimize outcomes for students and strengthen instructional quality across programs, you'll also have opportunities to expand your leadership skills, contribute to program development, and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.

What You Will Do as a Preschool Behavior Analyst:

  • You will partner with Teachers and educational leadership to develop, implement, and maintain evidence-based classroom systems, positive behavior support strategies, and instructional programming that promote meaningful student learning and success.
  • You will conduct ongoing classroom observations, assessments, and data analyses to evaluate student progress, identify learning needs, and recommend instructional and behavioral programming adjustments.
  • You will help develop IEP-aligned instructional strategies, individualized learning programs, and classroom supports that address communication, social, academic, behavioral, and adaptive skill development.
  • You will serve as a coach and mentor to Teachers and classroom teams by providing training, competency-based feedback, and ongoing support in evidence-based educational and behavioral practices.
  • You will utilize Behavior Skills Training (BST) methodologies to ensure staff achieve and maintain competency in instructional techniques, classroom systems, and behavior support procedures.
  • You will administer, analyze, and interpret assessment data, including verbal behavior and language assessments, to guide individualized educational and behavioral decision-making.
  • You will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior intervention strategies, including functional behavior assessment processes, data collection systems, and behavior support plans as needed.
  • You will collaborate with Teachers, therapists, educational leadership, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality services and consistent student support across programs.
  • You will provide leadership in staff development, performance management, professional growth initiatives, program-wide training systems, and monthly professional development activities.
  • You will support program quality, regulatory compliance, instructional fidelity, and operational consistency while helping to cultivate a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • You will stay current with emerging research and best practices in applied behavior analysis and early childhood special education, using your expertise to enhance outcomes for students, staff, and families.
