Behavioral Aide

Facility: Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation Location: Melbourne, Florida Position: Behavioral Aide Shift: Full Time | 7am-3pm and 3pm-10:30pm Pay Rate: $15 per hour Do you enjoy the outdoors and have a heart for helping others? This entry-level role is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of residents—no prior experience required. Full training and support are provided. Key Responsibilities Comfortable working with residents who smoke and able to handle smoke exposure. Provide supervision and companionship to residents outdoors. Foster a calm, supportive environment for residents. Observe and report any behavioral concerns to nursing staff. Offer friendly conversation and emotional reassurance. Stay attentive and comfortable during extended outdoor periods. What We’re Looking For Must be at least 21 years old. Strong communication and customer service skills. Warm, dependable, and compassionate personality. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. Comfortable working outdoors for long shifts. High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
