Job Description

As a Security Officer Authorization in Remington IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry and exit points verify authorized access monitor activity conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control policies and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials maintaining visitor and contractor records and directing authorized personnel and vehicles to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points loading areas parking areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities incidents and access-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
