Chief of Staff

Confidential

Our client is a rapidly scaling, private equity sponsored residential services platform focused on the acquisition, integration and professionalization of fonder-led operators across South Florida. The Company is executing a disciplined buy-and-build strategy centered around recurring maintenance revenue, route density optimization, operational standardization and scalable shared-service infrastructure.

We has been engaged by the Company to identify qualified candidates for the position of Chief of Staff . Reporting directly into operational leadership, this individual will serve as a critical execution and integration resource responsible for helping drive operational coordination, post-acquisition integration and systems implementation initiatives across the platform.

This role is best viewed as an operational utility player and extension of leadership – someone capable of operating across a wide range of initiatives while independently driving execution, accountability and follow-through within a fast-moving environment. Success in the role will require a proactive operator capable of thriving in ambiguity while helping create structure within a rapidly evolving organization.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated operating style, with responsibilities that include:

  • Support acquisition onboarding and post-close integration initiatives across newly acquired operating companies
  • Coordinate operational implementation workstreams including Aspire, fleet management, telematics, scheduling and operational systems rollout
  • Drive execution of critical operational tasks and cross-functional initiatives across the platform
  • Partner closely with operations leadership to improve accountability, communication and execution consistency across branches
  • Assist with KPI tracking, operational reporting and performance visibility initiatives
  • Help create scalable operational processes, infrastructure and organizational discipline across the platform
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, systems integration and operational implementation activities
  • Operate as a hands-on problem solver willing to jump into operational details and execution-oriented workstreams as needed
  • Serve as a highly responsive and adaptable extension of operational leadership across a broad range of evolving priorities

Importantly, this is not intended to be a traditional corporate PMO, strategy or administrative support role. Leadership emphasize the need for a scrappy, high-horsepower builder with strong urgency, operational intensity and a true “figure it out” mentality – someone capable of independently driving projects forward without requiring excessive structure or oversight.

The role offers significant exposure to private equity-backed growth, acquisition integration, operational systems implementation, branch operations, organizational buildout and executive-level operational leadership within a rapidly scaling platform.

To achieve success in this high-energy, rapidly growing and dynamic environment, the ideal candidate will combine strong operational instincts, project management capabilities and execution-oriented problem-solving skills with a highly entrepreneurial operating style. Additionally, ideal candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant business or operations discipline required
  • Progressive experience within operations, project management, operational finance, consulting, private equity portfolio operations or field-service environments
  • Strong organizational and execution capabilities combined with a highly hands-on operating style
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple workstreams and drive follow-through within fast-paced environments
  • Experience supporting operational implementation, integration or process improvement initiatives across evolving organizations
  • Strong business judgment and ability to quickly synthesize information to drive timely and actionable decision-making
  • High-motor, entrepreneurial mentality with a “figure it out” approach and willingness to operate as a humble, highly accountable, roll-up-your-sleeves operator
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with limited structure while independently managing priorities and driving accountability across stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across operations, field leadership and executive management
  • Experience within landscaping, residential services, route-based services, field services or operationally intensive industries is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to reside in Florida and maintain a regular on-site presence within the organization’s operating footprint
