MarketSphere provides unclaimed property compliance solutions for enterprise and mid-market organizations. Founded in 2002, MarketSphere serves thousands of organizations with annual compliance reporting, advisory, audit support, owner reunification, and corporate asset recovery. MarketSphere's Innovation Center supports these services by delivering modern, secure, and scalable technology platforms that drive client success and internal efficiencies.

In August 2026, MarketSphere received a significant growth equity investment from Long Ridge Equity Partners to accelerate product development, expand sales and marketing, and invest in its people, platform, and client service. The company has an ambitious multi-year growth plan, and its technology platform will be central to reaching and exceeding it.

About the Role

The Head of Product will lead MarketSphere's product organization and set the vision for how the company's platform initiatives fit together. This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer, and partners closely with Engineering, Practice Leaders, and client delivery teams. This leader will set and steer the product vision, turn it into a business-case-driven roadmap, and continue building the team that ships and supports these solutions.

Much of what we build is sensitive or mission-critical, so you'll need fluency in what it takes to deliver software under strict regulatory compliance expectations. We operate in an environment of rapid growth and change, and we're constantly looking for ways to solve business problems better, faster, and more profitably. We've already built a broad foundation of modern products and platforms, and we're ramping the team up as we take our offerings to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision: Set MarketSphere's product vision and 3 to 5-year roadmap, defining how the platform and initiatives across the enterprise fit together as a cohesive whole. Bring the voice of the market into the product by synthesizing input from practice leaders, clients, delivery teams, industry trends, competitors, and prospects into new ideas to bring to the leadership team.
• Product Roadmap: Translate the vision into an executable roadmap with clear priorities, milestones, and deliverables for each 6 to12 month cycle. Create a roadmap based on business cases and ROI assessments. Install a prioritization framework and partner with Finance on business cases for major investments.
• Software Delivery: Partner with Engineering to drive delivery through the sprint process and ship high-quality product on schedule. Balance long-term core platform strategy with client-specific feature requests, managing both through a single prioritized roadmap and making clear tradeoff decisions that meet key client commitments without fragmenting the product.
• Program Performance Management: Stand up product telemetry and success metrics so that shipped features can be evaluated for their contribution to business goals by the CEO and Board.
• Leadership: Build and lead the Product Management team, including hiring, setting performance standards and coaching and mentoring product managers and QA.
• Lead product governance (e.g., a technology steering committee), aligning leadership on priorities, trade-offs, and investment decisions.
• Partner with the CTO on hiring plans, organizational design, and leadership development as the team grows
• Enable Marketing and Sales to win new business by enabling them with an understanding of the platform's competitive differentiation and technical capabilities. xhyhwjd
• Partner with Client Delivery teams to ensure the product is configured and activated appropriately for given client contexts.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential and modeling secure, compliant delivery practices across the organization

Qualifications & Experience:

Core

• 10+ years in product management, including significant program, portfolio, or multi-team leadership experience
• Demonstrated delivery accountability for technology product management in regulated industries (financial services, banking, or healthcare strongly preferred)
• Track record of creating a product vision based on a distinct perspective on a market or problem space and getting buy-in for that vision from executive-level and Board-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to translate the vision it an incremental roadmap and ship against it, with a clear view of the business impact delivered
• Proven capability to deliver software products for both traditional external customers and internal users
• Strong partnership with engineering and fluency in modern product development practices (e.g., continuous delivery, sprint planning, release management)
• Executive presence to take input from practice leaders, clients, and the market, and to align a leadership team around a clear point of view
• Experience at the Director, Senior Director, or Vice President levels
• Experience managing product organization budgets as well as key vendor and partner relationships

Qualifications & Experience:

Preferred

• Experience in B2B industries at companies selling compliance / tax / accounting solutions to corporate, back-office buyers (e.g., Office of the CFO) is strongly preferred
• Experience scaling a technology product organization through a significant growth phase
• Exposure to systems handling sensitive data under strict regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GLBA, ISO, SOC 2, PCI, etc.)
• Experience in professional services or client-delivery organizations where software commitments carry contractual weight
• Working knowledge of state unclaimed property requirements is a significant plus
