About the Role

The Company is seeking a President & CEO to provide visionary and strategic leadership for the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future strategic direction, ensuring the highest quality of member services, and upholding the fiscal, legal, and ethical integrity of the association. This role involves leading a team of approximately 50 full-time staff, overseeing an annual revenue of around $29.9 million, and engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, government officials, and the media. The CEO will be a high-impact leader with strong management and critical thinking skills, dedicated to advancing the mission of the association and enhancing its public and political credibility. Key responsibilities for the President & CEO include strategic and operational leadership, board relations and governance, advocacy, public policy, and strategic communications. The ideal candidate will have executive-level experience, a strong working knowledge of government affairs, and a proven track record in staff and fiscal leadership. They should be an effective communicator, capable of representing the association as a spokesperson, and have the ability to anticipate and address industry challenges and opportunities. A background in the automotive aftermarket or adjacent industries is preferred, along with a bachelor's degree and a relevant advanced degree. The role requires a leader with strong emotional intelligence, the ability to build consensus, and a reputation for integrity and sound judgment.
