The Center for Human Genetics at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical Biochemical Geneticist to join our growing academic genetics program. This position offers the opportunity to practice at one of the nation‘s leading academic medical centers and the primary teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine .
Join a collaborative team providing comprehensive genetics and metabolic services across the University Hospitals health system for pediatric and adult patients. Clinical responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient care, management of inborn errors of metabolism, and shared call coverage within a team of nine geneticists.

The Center for Human Genetics is actively involved in cutting-edge research and serves as a site for:
- North American Mitochondrial Disease Consortium
- Urea Cycle Disorders Consortium
- Industry-sponsored clinical trials and disease registries
- Gene therapy and other novel therapeutic studies
Dedicated research support is provided by full-time research assistants and regulatory staff, with protected research time available based on candidate interests.
Qualifications- MD, DO, or MD/PhD
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Genetics and/or Medical Biochemical Genetics
- Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
- Commitment to clinical excellence, education, collaboration, and scholarly activity
