Position Summary Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; guiding change efforts and providing clear expectations to implement business solutions while communicating objectives to teams. Models exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved. Develops action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process-improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Responsibilities Drive financial performance and sales for the designated store area by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensure alignment with sales and manage merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals; lead continuous improvement in customer experience and store operations. Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, recognizing performance, and promoting a culture of belonging. Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs. Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and measuring progress toward goals. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, uphold ethics and integrity, and apply the Open Door Policy in daily operations. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms: successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training; for facilities selling only ammunition: may require a state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Salary range: $65,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year; additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses; various location-based differentials may apply.
