Qualifications Eligibility for a South Carolina teaching certificate from the SC Department of Education. Required documents following the certified teacher application requirements (must be uploaded; no other submissions accepted): Letter of interest Resume Valid teaching certificate (South Carolina or out‑of‑state) or passing exam scores Professional, confidential references completed via application survey link New graduates – reference from cooperating teacher and supervising professor Experienced teachers – reference from current or most recent supervisor BCSD requires a negative tuberculosis (TB) test result before employment begins: upload your test result if available or provide a statement that you will provide upon hire; test result must be submitted during onboarding.
