Radiation Therapist

Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. Current ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy . Current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy. Ability to maintain required continuing education, including 24 hours of continuing education within each two-year period . Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Strong understanding of radiation safety, treatment delivery, patient positioning, and quality assurance. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care. Preferred Qualifications Previous clinical or professional experience in radiation oncology. Experience with modern radiation therapy equipment and treatment delivery techniques. Familiarity with oncology information systems and electronic medical records. Experience collaborating with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology nursing teams. Strong patient education skills and an understanding of the unique needs of individuals undergoing radiation treatment.
