Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required. Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.

License: License required at the time of submission.

Certifications: ACLS and BLS required. PALS certification not required.

Must-Have: Candidates must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Weekends required, with 6 shifts in 6 weeks. Travelers are not expected to care for pediatric patients. Patient ratios are 1:5-6.

Description: This position is for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult patients. Key responsibilities include managing telemetry and performing assessments. The unit accommodates a diverse patient demographic. Daily census is approximately 32 patients with a total of 44 beds. The nurse will work alongside interdisciplinary support services. Special procedures on the unit include various surgical cases. The work requires skills in managing various medical devices and patient care protocols. Candidates must be able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team. Travel experience is preferred.
