Machine Operator

Fabrication Machine Operator Pay: $23.31 - $26.00/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Shift: Evening Shift Position Overview We are seeking a Machine Operator to join a growing fabrication team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating fabrication equipment according to production drawings and specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards. Experience with laser cutting equipment, brake presses, shears, and saws is highly valued. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cut lists. Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including: Laser machines Brake presses Shears Saws Punch presses Flame cutting equipment Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Monitor and record material usage. Follow established quality and safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and saws. Strong math skills, including working with fractions and measurements. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to varying temperatures. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tea, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48484.80 - $54080.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
