National Affairs News Assistant Rotational Program

NewsHour Productions, in partnership with WETA, seeks a News Assistant to gain hands-on experience in broadcast journalism by supporting the national affairs unit with logging video, researching stories, and assisting with field shoots.

This entry-level program runs nine months with national affairs duties, then three months with the digital team on online production. A BA/BS is required; strong writing, research and time management are essential.
