Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent warehouse in the La Vergne, TN area, is seeking Forklift Drivers to join their team!

 
Forklift Job Summary:
The warehouse forklift operator is responsible for safely operating industrial forklifts to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or distribution facility. This role ensures efficient handling of goods, supports inventory accuracy, and maintains a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
Pay: $20.00/hr
Shifts Available:

• • 2nd Shift

 

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas
• Move products to designated locations within the warehouse
• Stack and organize materials in a safe and orderly manner
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and stored
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Previous warehouse or forklift experience preferred
• Basic math and inventory skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Operate machinery for long durations
