Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care aligned with clinical protocols and ensuring patient safety during shift. Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification; IV Certification for LVNs preferred.
- Knowledge of Meditech or similar EMR systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
