Clinical Sales Specialist, Structural Heart - Structural Interventions (Los Angeles, CA)

Overview Abbott is a global healthcare leader focused on restoring health and improving quality of life through device and management solutions for Structural Heart disease. The Clinical Specialist is responsible for supporting the delivery of Abbott’s Amplatzer Congenital products, including atrial septal defects (ASD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), ventricular septal defects (VSD), and patent foramen ovale (PFO). Responsibilities Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients. Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products. Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform them of the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry. Actively engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcomes to key messaging. Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions. Demonstrate a strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence a variety of clinician personality types. Required Qualifications BS/BA or equivalent experience. 9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years of which is Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience. Verification of vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19, or ability to provide required accommodations. Preferred Qualifications Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.). Strong clinical orientation, experience with products for interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery, familiarity with echocardiography and other indirect imaging.
