Application Development Lead

Responsibilities Design, develop, and install software solutions; support and develop the software team; lead a team of developers responsible for building new and supporting existing applications; guide the development team on detailed design, development and deployment of software; establish development plans, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders; architect and develop code using Service Fabric, .NET 6, C#, SQL Server, web APIs and Azure services; translate business needs into workable technology solutions; ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards; implement Microservices and WebAPI using Domain Driven Design Architecture; develop integration with data caching solutions such as Microsoft AppFabric, NCache, Apache Ignite, or Redis; coach and mentor software engineers; lead projects for special systems and application development; analyze, document and recommend optimal software solutions for data ingestion, performance, administration and database design; review physical design of existing systems for performance optimization; oversee support, maintenance, operation and upgrades of applications; troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems; implement scalable, high‑performance application solutions; and travel is not required. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology (or foreign equivalent) with completed coursework in: Mathematics I & II, Computer & Languages, Mathematics III, Operating System, Theory of Automata & Formal Language, Introduction to Web Technology, Computer Based Numerical & Statistical Techniques, Database Management System, Design Analysis of Algorithm, Object Oriented Programming in C++, Software Engineering, Software Project Management, Computer Graphics, Information System, Multimedia Systems, Human Computer Interaction, Virtual Reality, Mobile Computing, Web Technology Lab, Computer Network, ERP System, Cryptography and Network Security, Distributed Systems, Data Structure Using C, and Data Mining and Warehousing; five (5) years of post‑baccalaureate progressive work experience as an Associate Consultant with responsibilities including requirement/impact analysis, design solution architecture, documentation of high‑level and low‑level design, development, testing, defect analysis, impact analysis for existing applications, and production issue resolution; must have utilized Application/Data Architecture & Programming skills (architecture/design patterns, OOAD, UML, JIRA), Microsoft Stack Programming (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, Node.js), Service‑Oriented Architecture (WCF, Web API, Microservices), Database Programming (MS, SQL, SSIS, SSRS), and Caching solutions; must be certified as a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (Web Developer), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (.NET Framework 2.0, Windows Applications, Distributed Applications, Web Applications) and TOGAF 9 Certified Level. Schedule and Location Full‑time (40 hours per week). Must be available for nights and weekends. Travel is NOT required. Position is based in San Ramon, Contra Costa County, CA, and in San Francisco, CA with a limited telecommuting option of one day per week. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $275,000 – $305,000 (base salary). Total remuneration may include discretionary bonus compensation. Employer covers 100% of all healthcare premiums for employees and their families and fully funds a retirement plan at 25% of total compensation up to the IRS limit.
