The Subcontractor Coordinator works with Optus subcontractors to complete contracts, negotiate pricing and ensure ample coverage for serviced markets. They will also assist with updating, reporting, and analyzing data related to vendors and service metrics. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Make calls to qualify and solicit new subcontractors
• Coordinate email and direct mail campaigns to recruit, qualify, and add subcontractors
• Manage the subcontractor agreement process, which includes negotiation of pricing, confirmation of technical skill sets, insurance verification, and agreement to defined Optus response times
• Pro-actively analyze current vendor database by geography and identify coverage weaknesses
• Responsible for loading and updating vendor information into internal systems
• Participate in the measurement and ranking of subcontractors
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend changes to management
  Collect, review and analyze information in order to make sound recommendations
• Find new ways to control costs, increase efficiency or improve customer service
• Leveraging data by creating reporting and analysis on CRM, call recording, call metrics, and other tools to provide information via dashboards, key performance, and trend indicators
• Present analysis and recommendations to services leadership team and executive team
• When necessary, partner with other internal teams to resolve vendor disputes, challenges and target specific skillsets for Optus footprint expansion
• Model appropriate behavior in regards to Optus’ Core Values and Code of Ethics Policies and supports Optus’ team approach to Quality
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by management
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively with management and staff at all levels
• Proven results in negotiation
• Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and communicate effectively to include both verbal and written communication
• Must also possess strong analytical skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties as well as time management skills to manage concurrent projects with overlapping deadline
• Strong organizational and planning skills with a professional attitude
• Prefer experience in a progressive, technically geared work environment

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
