Our diode laser-based products have become industry standards and are used in a wide variety of commercial and military applications.Northrop Grumman – Cutting Edge Optronics (CEO) is looking for a highly motivated Assembler. This position requires a team oriented individual to perform tasks associated with the fabrication of laser diode bars, laser diode arrays or laser diode pumped gain modules. Primary responsibilities will include a subset of the following: (1) fabrication of laser diode bars, (2) fabrication of hard and/or soft solder mounted bar assemblies, (3) preparation of mechanical parts for laser diode array and subassembly builds, (4) laser diode array builds and (5) assembly and test of CW gain modules. Responsibilities are subject to change dependent upon your personal experience/strengths and specific needs of Cutting Edge Optronics. This is a 2nd shift position.Minimum Education Required: High School/GEDJob Category: OperationsAdditional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience.
