Nuclear Safety Engineer

As a key member of the LOCA and Containment Team, the full-time remote Lead Engineer - LOCA & Containment will perform plant thermal-hydraulic safety analyses and support reload and design applications for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) plants worldwide. Key responsibilities Conduct thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses related to ECCS LOCA, Containment, and other safety assessments Manage fuel project activities, including reload analyses and safety analysis support for emergent fuel issues Prepare and present technical data to internal and external stakeholders while mentoring team members Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) Minimum 3 years of experience in Thermal Hydraulic Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis Expertise in two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques Experience with BWRs or PWRs and knowledge of reactor licensing requirements Familiarity with T-H systems codes such as TRACG, TRACE, and RELAP
