This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients across the full lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, in a dynamic hospital setting with 1:1 patient ratios.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Manage tracheostomies, nitrous oxide procedures, and proning techniques
• Engage in critical care and ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention
• Conduct spontaneous breathing trials and arterial blood gas (ABG) draws
• Utilize ECMO in patient care

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum 2 years experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Active IL license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT (or CRT) certification
• Proficient in EPIC charting system
• Experience with critical care respiratory procedures
