Job Summary

Provides a variety of administrative support to a complex project or multiple projects. Works closely with Project Managers. Compiles technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials. Maintains tactical responsibility for tracking project financials. Participates in special projects as required. Makes appointments, travel arrangements, meeting arrangements and coordinates activities between program management, customer, and outside parties. May provide work leadership for lower-level employees. Essential Function :

• Develops formal correspondence and administrative memoranda;
• Maintains office templates and ensures compliance with policy and formats;
• Coordinates customer meetings, briefings and various staff events;
• Maintains work / staff schedules and calendars / coordinates travel requirements;
• Captures meeting minutes / writes after-action reports / tracks suspense dates;
• Applies policies and standards to ensure quality and conformance of work products;
• Maintains paper and digital files / SharePoint management / version controls;
• Maintains records / collects data / generates reports and memoranda; and
• Provides other administrative assistance to programs and staff as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• +5-yrs working with senior government staff and military field grade personnel;
• Experience with Defense Travel System, SharePoint, and agency tasker system;
• Experience with graphics software packages, PowerPoint, import/export functions;
• Proficiency with document/file management, document editing, and reporting.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proficient in MS Office Suite / SharePoint / Adobe Pro;
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills; and
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Required Education and Related Experience

• HS graduate, +4 yrs. of administrative support experience, bachelor's degree preferred
• Or any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced knowledge of program requirements, policies, and procedures.

Physical Job Requirements

• This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
• This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors

Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

• US Citizenship is required
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
