Senior Quality Engineer
Serves as the senior quality engineer with responsibility for critical programs/projects.
Establishes and monitors the quality engineering parameters and metrics for assigned projects where scope of work may encompass fabrication, manufacturing, remanufacturing, technology insertion, fielding's, and all other operational support phases.
Writes test protocol, tests, collects data, and writes reports to validate against plan to ensure product and gages are used as intended.
Prepares and coordinates quality test plans, participates in the conduct of testing, analyzes test data and reports test results.
Utilizes knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GDT) to review manufactured part and assembly drawings to determine where standard off the shelf gaging or custom gaging can be implemented into the manufacturing processes.
