Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Psych

Experience: Minimum one year nursing experience providing direct patient care. Preferred one year inpatient behavioral health work experience and one year medical/surgical nursing experience.
License: Licensed RN to practice in Kentucky
Certifications: Current CPR


Must-Have:


Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.


Description:
Provide direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric needs.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for patients.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with patients and their families.
Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans.
Stay informed about the latest trends and practices in psychiatric nursing.
Promote a therapeutic environment conducive to patient recovery.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding mental health issues.
