Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Marietta, GA. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm depending on travel and work location with rotating Saturdays working 8:00am-12:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other special studies. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfort working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and reliable transportation. Minimum age 21 years. Float Incentive Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomy Incentive Plan Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern or Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
