We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced emergency care team in Ottumwa, IA . This full-time, permanent RN opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in critical situations, provide exceptional patient care, and have strong assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making skills.

The Emergency Department RN will care for acutely ill and injured patients across all age groups , utilizing critical thinking, prioritization, and evidence-based nursing practices to deliver safe, high-quality care. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care through emergency triage
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and perform routine and advanced nursing treatments
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond quickly to emergencies
• Recognize and manage cardiac arrhythmias and critical patient situations

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Active Iowa RN License or Compact RN License eligible to practice in Iowa
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certification:
• • Child Abuse Reporting
  • Dependent Adult Abuse Reporting
• Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated Salary Range: $70,803 – $95,596/year
