Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery. This is a Full-time, Night Shift opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Irving, Texas (Onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

• Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Full-time, 3/12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients. Monitor fetal heart tones, manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, and provide immediate newborn care.
• Partner with patients and families to provide education, emotional support, and advocacy throughout the childbirth experience.
• Coordinate care with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal staff, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
• Function decisively and competently during obstetric emergencies (e.g., fetal distress, hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia).
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in unit performance improvement. Uphold all policies and safety standards.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Current BLS and NRP certification (AHA required)
• Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Strong fetal monitoring and obstetrical skills
• Current RN license (Texas or Compact State)
• Current RN License in the State of Texas or a Multi-State Compact License
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) AHA required
• AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification is a plus
• L&D experience required
• Expertise in fetal monitoring, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to function calmly in emergencies, and strong critical thinking
