National Fleet Manager

Job Purpose National Fleet Manager – Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicle (CV) – Midwest/Central/South Central/West US Region. The role is primarily responsible for the Fleet Starter & Alternator business, building and maintaining customer relationships, growing sales, and managing product programs in the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities Responsible for all commercial sales activities for PHINIA’s fleet within the designated area. Achieve annual sales budget (revenue, growth, margin) with key fleet accounts, regional accounts, dealers and dealer groups. Create and maintain a business plan for the territory and customers. Establish a regular sales call pattern with existing and new customers. Monitor market dynamics, including customer and competitor developments, and communicate relevant information. Develop, coordinate, and conduct customer sales, product and training meetings and presentations. Introduce and manage key product launches. Attend industry and customer trade shows to strengthen PHINIA/Delco Remy brand presence. Communicate key information with customers and corporate personnel as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related field (preferred). 3–7 years NA heavy‑duty CV sales experience in the commercial vehicle industry or similar distribution channels. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Knowledge of market trends, aftermarket channels, buying groups, and industry organizations. Understanding of how sales interrelate with other functions within the organization. Excellent presentation skills at various management levels. High credibility and trustworthiness with customers; balance customer and company interests. Strong selling and negotiating skills; ability to establish and maintain relationships. High endurance and energy level; ability to work until customer needs are met. Ability to work under general supervision.
