Job Details Specialty: CVOR Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room / Perioperative Services Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 03/22/2027 Duration: 26 weeks Shift Duration: 8-hour days Hours Per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750 - $2,890 Call Schedule: 3 days on / 3 days off Weekend Requirement: Weekend call only Location: Lake Forest, Illinois Job Requirements Active Illinois RN license in hand; pending or emergency licenses are not accepted At least 1 year of direct CVOR or cardiac surgery experience required Travel nursing experience required ACLS and BLS through the AHA required Ability to circulate cardiac surgery cases required Scrub experience preferred Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as CABG , valve replacement, TAVR , LVAD/RVAD , MAZE, and IABP preferred Ability to arrive within 30 minutes when on call Responsibilities Circulate cardiac surgery cases in a cardiovascular operating room setting Support a variety of complex surgical procedures, including general OR cases as needed Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to deliver safe, efficient patient care Maintain readiness for on-call assignments and weekend coverage as scheduled Assist with high-acuity surgical workflows while prioritizing quality and patient safety Contribute to a smooth perioperative experience for adolescents and adults Adapt quickly to a dynamic travel assignment and established surgical standards Why Consider This CVOR RN Travel Job?
