Echo Sonographer, Non-Invasive CardiologyARMStaffing is looking for an Echo Sonographer, Non-Invasive Cardiology (Day Shift) in San Antonio, Texas.LocationSan Antonio, TXAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftDay shift with call requirements. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.Job DescriptionThe Echo Sonographer will be responsible for independently performing complete echocardiograms, utilizing equipment such as Philips IE33 and Epiq CVX. The role requires a solid understanding of anatomy and disease processes, primarily within a non-invasive cardiology unit. Documentation will be handled through the Meditech system.ResponsibilitiesPerform echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures.Document findings accurately in Meditech.Float to other units as needed according to Methodist Floating Policy.Participate in on-call rotations as required.Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.Required Experience2+ years of hospital experience as an Echo Sonographer.Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and disease processes.BLS certification.Certifications/LicensureActive RCS or RDCS certification required.ARDMS certification preferred.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
