Phlebotomist - Float

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist in Monroe, NY to perform blood collections across multiple sites, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role offers schedule flexibility, site rotation, and opportunities for professional growth within a diagnostic laboratory network.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing and collect payments as required
• Travel to additional clinic sites as needed for float coverage

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass color blindness screening test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• At least 21 years old

Compensation: $17.75–$20.00 per hour; float incentive adds $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
