Travel Physical Therapist - $2,445 per week

Position Fusion Medical Staffing – Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13‑week assignment in Yuba City, California. The assignment begins on June 29, 2026 and requires 40 hours per week with 8‑hour shifts. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate, maintain, and calibrate specialized equipment and modalities safely. Assess progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices. Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued progress. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome. Other certifications or licenses may be advantageous. Required Skills Critical thinking and service excellence. Effective interpersonal communication. Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficient PC skills. Physical abilities: ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills: positive attitude, professionalism, teamwork. Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, assistance with procedures, equipment use. Mental requirements: work under pressure, handle public contact, work independently or under supervision as needed. Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
