Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with a prestigious healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to find a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join their growing Physical Therapy team.

In this role you will administer and oversee physician-prescribed physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.

What You'll Do

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physician-directed therapy services by:

• Delivering physical therapytreatments according to prescribed plans and scheduled appointments
• Preparing, educating, andmonitoring patients throughout treatment sessions to ensure safe andeffective care
• Administering therapeuticexercises, physical agents, and ambulatory procedures while providingage-appropriate care in accordance with departmental policies
• Documenting treatments accuratelyand communicating patient progress to therapists, physicians, andleadership
• Maintaining therapy equipmentthrough routine upkeep, cleaning, sanitization, storage, and minorpreventive maintenance

Additional Requirements

• Maintain patient confidentialityand provide exceptional patient service
• Communicate effectively withmedical staff and other healthcare professionals
• Follow infection control, safetyprocedures, and Healthcare System policies
• Process daily therapy servicecharges

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
• Current Texas PTA license required
• Knowledge of physical therapy equipment and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• CPR certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient transfers; push/pull up to 300 lbs as needed
