Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Gated Community in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential apartment community, you will drive and conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout residential communities, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe property activity to help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
