Senior Bookkeeper

Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a Direct hire Senior Bookkeeper for a company located in the League City area (77573). The Senior Bookkeeper will serve as the right hand for the Controller and will be responsible for full cycle bookkeeping for 30+ clients.As a Senior Bookkeeper, you’ll be responsible for:Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including transaction coding, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close processes.Prepare and review financial statements, tax-to-book adjustments, and maintain accurate client financial records.Support the preparation of individual and business tax returns by gathering documentation, coordinating client communications, and assisting with compliance and filing requirements.Serve as primary administrative and operational support to the Enrolled Agent and Executive Vice President.Coordinate client communications, appointment preparation, IRS correspondence, and follow-up activities.Track projects, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure efficient workflows, organizational accountability, and timely client service.What you’ll need:3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience required - REQUIREDTax preparation experience with individual and/or business returns preferredExperience working with a tax, bookkeeping or CPA firmPerks:Salary: $55K-$60KClick on Apply Now to be considered for this Senior Bookkeeper job located in the League City (77573) area.
