Department Information The Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design focuses on combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience to prepare students for tech-adjacent careers involving digital environments and user experiences. Job Summary Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design for the academic year 2025-2026. Positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hire and will be commensurate with credentials. Work will be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities Teaching undergraduate courses in Technical Communication, primarily TCOM 2010: Introduction to Technical Writing or lower-level TCID-prefixed classes. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Qualifications A minimum of a Master\'s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Technical Communication or Professional Writing or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire. OR A minimum of a Master\'s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
