Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with expertise in circulating and performing independent surgeries in complex ortho, spine, and neuro cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intraoperative patient care and surgical support.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Circulate independently during complex orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries, including robotic cases.
• Assist in preparing the operating room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and scrub nurses to facilitate efficient and effective surgeries.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, providing coverage as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards throughout each shift.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with 4-5 years of OR nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proven circulating experience in orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries.
• Preferably experienced in scrub roles and familiar with DiVinci robotic procedures.
• Show ability to perform surgeries independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain current certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and appropriate perioperative credentials.
• Willing to accept COVID medical or religious exemptions as applicable.
