Position – Quality Control Inspector
Location: Peru, IN
We are seeking experienced Quality Control Inspectors to support commercial aircraft maintenance and inspection operations in Peru, IN. This position verifies completed maintenance, workmanship, and documentation meet applicable technical and quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect aircraft maintenance, repairs, installations, and completed work
- Verify work is completed in accordance with applicable technical data and procedures
- Perform in-process and final inspections as assigned
- Inspect aircraft systems, components, and installations for conformity and workmanship
- Identify discrepancies and communicate required corrective actions
- Review maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
- Coordinate with technicians and leads while following quality and safety procedures

Summary of Education, Experience and Certification
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required
- Previous aircraft maintenance and quality control or inspection experience required
- Commercial airline or heavy-maintenance aircraft inspection experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of aircraft inspection and quality control practices
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical data, and work instructions
- Ability to identify maintenance, installation, and workmanship discrepancies
- Ability to review maintenance records for accuracy and completeness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to aircraft safety and quality
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with maintenance and quality personnel
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The employee will work in an aircraft maintenance and hangar environment and may be exposed to noise, chemicals, moving equipment, and other conditions associated with aviation maintenance.
The position may require extended standing and walking, as well as bending, climbing, reaching, kneeling, and accessing different areas of an aircraft.
