In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for Pediatric patient. The patient will receive continuous nursing support to address any medical needs, health monitoring, and assistance with daily activities as required. The nurse will be present to ensure the patient's health and safety, administer necessary medications, monitor vital signs, and provide care in case of any medical emergencies. This is a position in Ferris, Tx 75125ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plansAdminister medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changesMaintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisorMonitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and behaviors.Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort.Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.Assist with medical procedures and provide post-procedure careMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility standards.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of care is provided QualificationsCurrently licensed Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN in state of Texas or compass statePrevious experience as a or Licensed Vocational Nurse is preferredExcellent interpersonal and client care skillsValid driver’s licenseFirst aid CPR certification requiredCompassionate, patient-focused approach to care1 year Experience in long-term care, acute care, rehabilitation or Home Health for Pediatrics preferredTo Apply: Please go to our website at and navigate to the careers section to fill out the online application.
