Job Description

As a General Laborer, you will work inside the piping room where you will set cages, apply indicators such as pipe size and batch numbers, blow torch the inside of pipes, and clean and oil molds. You should be comfortable working with concrete and using hand tools, power tools, and a tape measure. Experience with an overhead crane is a bonus but not required. The position involves rotating weekly shifts between morning and afternoon crews.

Responsibilities

• Set cages and apply indicators (pipe size, batch number, etc.).
• Blow torch the inside of pipes.
• Clean and oil molds.
• Read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Work with hand and power tools.
• Complete checklists with precision.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor, construction, or trades.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Minimum of 2 years of job stability.
• Capability to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with overhead cranes and blueprints is beneficial.
• Experience in assembly, production, concrete work, landscaping, carpentry, or forklift operation is advantageous.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse or production environment, which may be outdoors. The environment can be dirty due to concrete work. You will work rotating weekly shifts with morning hours from 4 AM to 12:30 PM and afternoon hours from 11 AM to 8 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
