Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description Functions as a point person/coordinator of services for oncologists and oncology patients. Promotes the smooth transition of patient care from entry into the MBPCC system until completion of treatment and throughout the follow-up process. Essential Functions Coordination of patient care services. Specialized nursing care of oncology patients. Phone triage. Patient education. Preparation of charts. Scheduling PET and CT scans. Qualifications Active LPN license in the state of Louisiana. Active BLS CPR certification. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing; oncology experience preferred. Location: Primarily at the clinic in Covington, LA, with support at the clinic in Slidell, LA as needed.
