Shifts: 5x8hr Days, on call/callback/holiday per unit needs

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This contract role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist

Demonstrates competence in selecting exposure factors, positioning, and consistently produces radiologic images of diagnostic quality.
Instructs and prepares patients for examinations and assists Radiologist during procedures.
Operates all equipment competently, reporting malfunctions appropriately.
Completes all assigned procedures timely, assisting others and with room turnover as needed.
Maintains medication security to authorized personnel only.
Demonstrates competency across all age groups in provided healthcare services and interpersonal relationships.
Effectively uses Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS.
Participates in hospital performance improvement activities when required.
Maintains confidentiality with patient care modules and professional phone etiquette.

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
Two (2) years of experience
NYS License (or able to obtain prior to start)
ARRT
VIR Certified - Preferred
