Work Environment

The position is fully remote, providing the ability to work from a climate-controlled office setting. You will engage in daily interactions with other mental health professionals, school staff, and healthcare providers, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care. Your daily responsibilities will involve evaluating and addressing the needs of children and families, utilizing a combination of traditional therapeutic modalities and innovative digital tools to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and evaluate the psychological status of students, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to inform individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring cultural diversity and unique needs are considered.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly to adjust interventions and strategies that enhance mental health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and related clinical information using current digital technologies, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Work closely with school personnel and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach in supporting students' mental well-being.
• Provide education and supervision for interns and less experienced clinicians, facilitating their development through peer reviews, clinical discussions, and mentoring.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on children and families impacted by cancer diagnoses within a school environment. You will address a range of emotional and psychological challenges these individuals face, such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Prior experience providing mental health services in a school setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
