ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE - AP

Location: HIXSON, TN 37343

Pay Rate: $28.00- $31.00/hr

This Accounting Associate is responsible for the accounts payable function. This includes verifying, obtaining approvals and paying all invoices in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. Must be detail oriented, professional, and able to work with minimal supervision. Other accounting and/or clerical duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

In an office in Hixson TN - this is NOT a remote position.

Pay$28-$31/hour DOE
Hours 7 - 4 or 8 - 5

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews invoices for accuracy, sufficient documentation, and correct authorization
• Codes and enters invoices into the AP system
• Handles calls and emails from vendors and internal personnel regarding AP questions
• Research accounts and invoices
• Files AP Documents
• Other accounting/clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Some accounting education preferred
• AP experience preferred
• Must be detail oriented, analytical and well organized
• Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills
