Fire Sprinkler Service Helper | $20–$22/HR | Temp-to-Hire

Looking for a steady opportunity where you can put your mechanical skills to work and learn a skilled trade? We’re hiring Fire Sprinkler Service Helpers to work alongside experienced service technicians on commercial fire sprinkler systems.

This is a temp-to-hire position with an established company and a great opportunity for someone with experience in fire sprinklers, plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical work, or construction who wants to grow in the fire protection industry.

Pipe threading experience is a MAJOR PLUS!

What You’ll Do

• Assist fire sprinkler technicians with service, repairs, and system modifications
• Measure, cut, ream, thread, and assemble pipe
• Assist with draining and refilling sprinkler systems
• Remove and replace sprinkler heads, fittings, and piping
• Help locate leaks and damaged system components
• Work with black iron pipe and threaded fittings
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Work from ladders and lifts when needed
• Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized
• Learn hands-on fire sprinkler service and repair

What We’re Looking For

• Fire sprinkler experience is preferred, but not required
• Plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical, or similar construction experience is a plus
• Pipe threading experience is a major plus
• Experience with RIDGID or similar pipe threading machines is highly desirable
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Comfortable working from ladders and lifts
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
• Willingness to learn and grow in the fire protection trade

Job Details

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–4:00 PM
Employment: Temp-to-Hire
Background Check: Required
