Currently, we are assisting a large corporate recruit for a Production Supervisor in Temecula, Ca. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations across Injection Molding and Blow Molding production areas in an SQF-certified facility, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards. Primary responsibilities include: • Supervising daily production operations, ensuring compliance with SQF standards, GMPs, food safety, and quality requirements • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of operators, packers, and technicians to drive performance, safety, and accountability • Monitoring production schedules, optimizing machine performance, and minimizing downtime to meet operational goals • Troubleshooting equipment, production, and material issues to maintain efficiency and product quality • Conducting quality checks, maintaining production records, and supporting audits and compliance requirements • Collaborating with maintenance, quality, and inventory teams to ensure equipment reliability and proper material flow • Driving continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and process optimization • Managing employee scheduling, time-off requests, and shift assignments • Ensuring workplace safety, reporting hazards, and maintaining a clean and compliant environmentPreferred Qualifications: • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with hands-on experience in injection and/or blow molding experience is a plus • Food and Beverage or Manufacturing Industry is required • Strong knowledge of SQF standards, GMPs, food safety, and regulated production environments • Experience troubleshooting molding equipment and optimizing production processes • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and machine manuals • Basic computer skills, including ERP systems and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or SPC is a plus
The starting pay rate for Production Supervisor jobs is "$30-35"/hr DOE, plus overtime as needed. This position is second shift working 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday with the flexibility to support overtime as needed. Candidates must be able to train for a couple months on first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
