Must-Have: MED/Surg experience, Telemetry, remote monitoring experience, Use of Rapid Response Team, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols experience, Colostomy care, Feeding tube management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis management, Blood product administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral line care, Phlebotomy experience, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin protocols, PCA knowledge, Chest tube management, CPAP/BiPAP experience, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks usage, Portable oxygen tank knowledge, Isolation precautions, Wound care and wound vac management

Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be negotiated onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could lead to cancellation and DNR. Traveler experience is accepted for first-time travelers. Candidates may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Floating within or near the facility is required as per job description. Weekend shifts are required as outlined in the contract. Daily patient diagnoses include dementia, diabetes, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, and hip fractures. Unit systems include Pyxis and electronic medical record documentation. Patient care involves adults and geriatrics with a daily census of approximately 41. Staffing support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. All candidates must understand the importance of passing EKG testing before starting the position. Remote training modules are also required to complete prior to the start date.
